Daniel’s decision to begin his Master’s journey in January 2018 was not a sudden step, but the natural continuation of work that had already captured his interest and motivation. After successfully completing his Honours project in the Bui Lab, he found himself deeply engaged with both the research questions and the hands-on process behind them. Rather than closing that chapter, Daniel chose to build upon it, seeing the project not as an endpoint but as a foundation for further exploration.

Much like revisiting football full matches replays to uncover details that might have been missed the first time, Daniel recognized that his Honours work still held untapped potential. Each experiment, observation, and result offered room for refinement and deeper analysis.…
